The German Film Festival will present its 21st edition in 2017 over two weeks. This year, more than 30 ambitious and fascinating films will provide a unique insight into contemporary life in Germany and Europa. Through a wide range of genres – spanning art-house, comedy, historical drama, documentaries and music films, listen to stories that cross borders, covering contemporary issues affecting lives around the world. This is the The EML Show. Simple, straightforward, a show by NUS EML. At UTown Town Plaza, watch a live showcase of electronic music. No Strings Attached (Puppet Festival) by Paper Monkey Theatre, 4 – 5 Nov, various timings
This puppetry festival, in its second year of running, will feature performances by ACX Productions (Malaysia), Rolling Puppet Alternative Theatre (Macau), Ting a Tong Theatre (Thailand) & Paper Monkey Theatre (Singapore). Passages Contemporary Season by Singapore Dance Theatre, 3 – 5 Nov, SOTA Studio Theatre
