The 7th Kuala Lumpur Experimental Film, Video & Music Festival, 24 – 27 Nov 2016
KLEX aspires to be a platform to introduce Southeast Asian and global contemporary experimental cinema and music to Malaysian viewers, and to cultivate an understanding and exchange between local and international experimental art communities. George Town Literary Festival 2016, 25 – 27 Nov 2016, Penang
With its charming colonial architecture, vibrant multicultural community and intangible living heritage, the heritage district of George Town will welcome visitors from around Malaysia and the world for a three-day celebration of poetry, prose and spoken word from 25 to 27 November. GTLF 2016 will see panel discussions, readings, spoken word performances and film screenings around the festival’s theme; “Hiraeth”, a Welsh word which means “the longing for a homeland that is no longer there”.
