New on ArtsEquator in 2021: Hot List, Teaser Tuesday and Cakap-Cakap

ArtsEquator is introducing three new series in 2021 – Hot List, Teaser Tuesday and Cakap-Cakap – to help promote shows, events and other arts and culture programmes in Singapore and the rest of Southeast Asia. This is in tandem with other new content planned for next year, as ArtsEquator finds ways to better serve our readers and the arts community.

Read on for what each series will cover.

Hot List

Every first Wednesday of the month, ArtsEquator will release a list of recommended shows/events/programmes that our readers can look out for in that month.

Teaser Tuesday

Every second Tuesday of the month, ArtsEquator will post 1 image on our social media channels to help create buzz and interest for an upcoming show/event/programme.

This photo should be distinct, arresting and/or unusual – behind the scenes shots, or pictures that tell an interesting story about the process of creating a work, for example, would be preferred over a publicity image.

Cakap-Cakap

Our new monthly feature Cakap-Cakap comprises an interview with an individual linked to a show or event. This interview will have set questions (8-10 questions), tailored to fit the event, and will be conducted via Google Docs or email.

To submit a show/event/programme for consideration for any or all of these three series, you must fill in this form. All entries to be featured must be submitted by the 15th of the preceding month.

Things to note:

ArtsEquator reserves the right not to publish any information that is shared, at our editorial discretion.

Please do not use this form for regular listings on our events diary. To list your event in our diary, we have a self-submission system which you can find here.

For other pitches, please email nabilah(at)artsequator.com, preferably at least 2 months before your event date.

ArtsEquator also publishes in-depth sponsored advertorials and customised content. This income helps us to stay afloat, and allows us to commission our editorial content. For info, please click here.
