Of Horizon Landscape is a performance art by artists involved in the 69 Performance Club, a study platform for performance art created by Forum Lenteng. A landscape can be described as a particular situation that is framed by our vision. This 11th edition of the 69 Performance Club provides the artists with an empty room for the artists to give responses of new landscapes and therefore giving identities to the space. Sejarah Adalah Sekarang, March 2017, Kineforum, Jakarta

To celebreate Indonesia’s National Film Month and to welcome the 67th Indonesia’s National Film day on 30th March 2017, Kineforum presents Sejarah adalah Sekarang. History has been a source of inspiration to Indonesian films, especially within the last decade where the love of films has resurfaced in Indonesia. The Padneçwara studio celebrates its 41 years journey in classical Javanese dance. To celebrate this journey, the group is holding a photography exhibition of the works of Retno Maruti, the studio’s founder, artist, choreographer, and maestro. Maruti, the recipient of various culture and art awards, doesn’t just perform classical javanese stories. Her works portray her aesthetics, stance and views of these stories. Mati Berdiri, 11 March 2017, 8 PM, Komunitas Salihara Black Box Theater, Jakarta

Sena Didi Mime, Indonesia’s prominent pantomime company presents its latest work, Mati Berdiri. The performance highlights the issue of information overloads and the current realities in Indonesia. Mati Berdiri presents these situations in a comedic way and gets us thinking how these situations can complicate our lives so much that we could end up dying standing up. Founded by Sena A Utoyo and Didi Petet in 1987, Sena Didi Mime have been invited to perform at various International Pantomime festival all over the world. Tata Boga, Now – 19 March 2017, Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, Bandung

Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, together with Institut Francais Indonesia present Enora Lalet’s solo exhibition, in collaboration with Matthias Lothy. This exhibition is a result of Lalet and Lothy’s 2 months residency at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space. Lalet continues her works on using food as decoration and accessories for different individuals. This time, the food is sourced locally. She also collaborated with various Bandung young artists and young art students and encouraged them to explore the theme of food and eating as related to their identities, values, as well as various myths and ethics.
