Joy is an illustrator, cartoonist, and designer based in Singapore. Having graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2016, their education in both illustration and art history equips them communicate stories in the arts. Their illustrations often take the form of colourful people-centered work, or inked dog comics that explore the pains and joys of existence. They have created work for ArtsEquator, New Naratif, National Public Radio (NPR), National Museum of Singapore, National Heritage Board, and have been invited to speak at events by Singapore Unbound and the National Library Board. They also organise and design for the local Queer Zinefest.
