Embark on a captivating voyage to discover the heritage and culture of the Malayalee community in Singapore with the Indian Heritage Centre’s third community co-curated exhibition, Ente Veedu, My Home: Malayalees in Singapore.
Co-curated with the Malayalee community in Singapore, the exhibition features a remarkable collection of over 200 artefacts – ranging from an ornate elephant caparison to a beautifully crafted ivory writing box from the late 18th century. Visitors will get to delve deeper into the second largest sub-group within Singapore’s Indian population, tracing their journey from the early days of settlement in Singapore to their evolving concept of home and identity in contemporary Singapore.
