Roweena Yip is a PhD candidate in Theatre Studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS), whose research interests lie in the intersections of gender and intercultural performances of Shakespeare in East Asia. She completed both her undergraduate degree in English Literature, and Master’s degree in Renaissance Literature, at the University of Edinburgh, UK.
