On Thursday night the 21st, you might also be interested in the opening of 57 x 76, A collaboration between Hanafi and Goenawan Mohamad. Without words, Hanafi sent an artwork to Goenawan and Goenawan responded to it by adding a line or a shape and other creations as expressions of his response. The exchange continued without any discussion of themes or ideas. As one creator “destroyed” the work of the other, dialogues started to form in the art works. Opening of 57 x 76 will take place on Thursday, 21 June 2018 at 7:30 PM at Galeri Nasional Indonesia in Jakarta. For more information on the exhibition, click here.
