Timeless Youth is a collaborative exhibition by Korean artist Choi Minkyung and Singaporean artist Sit Weng San that investigates individual & collective aspirations for youth and newness. It attempts to understand how the phenomena is echoed in all aspects of our lives; from identities to our bodies to urban spaces, and in social, cultural, scientific, and virtual spheres.

The two-channel installation, A Manual for Timeless Youth is a step-by-step instructional video on how to achieve eternal youth. Following the guidelines of “Erase, Control, Colonize, and Disguise”, the work bridges the artists’ embodied experiences, social phenomena in the wellness, anti-aging industries, urban redevelopment, and modernization projects in their respective ‘post-colonized’ cities of Seoul and Singapore.

A Manual for Timeless Youth (50 mins) loops hourly.

This exhibition is rated PG13 (Consumer Advice: Some Mature Content).
