Constellation
February 27 @ 9:30 am - April 5 @ 4:30 pm
Constellation is an exhibition exploring the perspectives and practices of nine women artists and creators within the context and background of contemporary society. All works refer to and reflect consciousness, attitude, knowledge regarding identity and society, culture and environment, time and space. The artworks are created from different energies, expertise, unique perspectives, backgrounds, and artistic practices of the artists.
Collecting and presenting the works created for various purposes by 9 artists in the Constellation exhibition depends on the principle that gives importance to seeing and thinking and sending/receiving messages with the visual language of each artwork. We can say each artwork is set on the same site and have a conversation between each other in the exhibition space. These works are unrelated in their meaning and origins, but a new relation was born. This process creates readings that can be either neutral or specific meaning and may take viewers on a journey to other places whether near and far.
