The UOL x ART:DIS Art Prize was set up in 2023 to recognise the artistic talent of persons with disabilities (PwDs). It celebrates their unique perspectives and provides them a platform to gain public visibility and patronage.
In its inaugural year, the competition received over 325 artworks from participants aged 6–76 years old, and across a spectrum of disability profiles.
The exhibition features the 28 winning artworks that were selected by an independent panel comprising – Mae Anderson (Chairman of Art Outreach and Managing Director at BNP Paribas Wealth Management), Dee Chia (Deputy Director of Audience Engagement at National Gallery Singapore), John Tung (Independent Curator and former Assistant Curator at Singapore Art Museum), Adeline Kueh (Senior Lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts) and Liam Wee Sin (Group Chief Executive at UOL Group Limited)
