Singer-Songwriters: Some Strings Attached Vol.2

After a successful sold-out show in the midst of covid restrictions last year, SINGER-SONGWRITERS: SOME STRINGS ATTACHED VOL. 2 comes back with a vengeance, featuring another group of Singapore’s most prolific singer-songwriters in a one-night-only concert.

The upcoming more intimate installment of the rare pairing of local singer-songwriters’ vocals and (many) strings, weish, Shirlyn Tan, Marian Carmel, Umar Sirhan, Shak’thiya and Richie El take the stage alongside a string quartet and a rhythm band led by veteran Music Director Bang Wenfu as they reimagine their songs in an intimate setting.

The show features fresh interpretations of songs, which will be performed live for the first time, taking the audience on a raw and immersive journey through the songwriters’ experiences of love and want, ruminations and imagination. It will be held on Saturday, 8 July 2023, at the Aliwal Arts Centre.
