Short Circuit 7 – Singapore’s Queer Short Film Festival

Short Circuit, Singapore’s First LGBT Film Festival, will be returning with its highly anticipated seventh edition – Short Circuit 7. Held on the 21st October 2023 at The Projector, the event features a diverse line-up of eleven short films by Singaporean filmmakers. The festival, which
was established in 2006, explores a wide range of themes such as love, identity, resilience, and acceptance.

This year, the programme is held in support of The T Project and Oogachaga, and all proceeds from the festival will be dedicated to creating a more inclusive and affirming society for queer individuals. The funds will be used to aid The T Project, as it continues its efforts to provide social services, such as shelter, support, and resources for transgender individuals in need, and for Oogachaga to continue rendering counseling and support services to individuals, couples, and families within the LGBTQ+ community.

With a collective objective of exulting in diversity, inclusiveness, and individuality, Short Circuit 7 transcends the boundaries of a film festival. It stands as a jubilation of an interconnected humanity and a resolute pledge of support for the LGBTQ+ community.
