Middle Ground: Between Space and Place

Attempting to go against the churn, this panel charts the comings and goings of incubating and presenting the arts in Singapore. We explore alternative ways of sustaining the arts in Singapore and consider what it takes for a space to truly sink roots into the community.

‘Middle Ground: Between Space and Place’ is part of Currents Above Ground, a series of activations picking up the conversation about the role of independent art spaces in civil society, in the context of its own unknown future of permanency in the neighbourhood.
