DY-Logue 2022 鼎有艺思 2022

Helmed by Ding Yi’s Erhu musician, Chia Wan Hua, DY-Logue returns for a third edition to bring you on an in-depth musical journey to compare, contrast and celebrate the alluring sounds of the Erhu and traditional Mongolian instrument, the Morin Khurr. This concert features Ding Yi musician Chia Wan Hua on Erhu, guest musician Anarva Wang on Morin Khurr, together with the rest of the ensemble from Ding Yi. Traverse to the vast, beautiful Mongolian grasslands with us through Chinese chamber music.

About DY-Logue Series
DY-Logue is an annual cross-cultural series where a musician from Ding Yi invites and collaborates with a guest musician from a different musical culture and tradition to present a joint concert blending contemporary Chinese chamber music and traditional music from another culture.
