SAC Gallery in collaboration with Soho House Bangkok invites audience to explore Dusit Thani, an experimental city during the reign of King Rama VI, with Prateep Sutathongthai, an artist who researches and creates works of art through historical evidence inspired by This city has been from Bangkok Art Biennale 2020 to Art SG 2024 in the discussion group on the topic “Club / Cult / Community : Dusit Thani Club Siam, Virtual World”
The event will be tracing Dusit Thani from old photographs and historical documents. Then try looking at this city as Thailand’s first “Social Club” and find the relationship between Dusit Thani and the world cultural trends that have just entered the 20th century. History is a raw material for creating work and Dr. Peerapat Uaysuk, Siam Heritage Protection Department official Siam Association under Royal Patronage People who enjoy investigating and connecting stories.
