The Map: A Survey of Works on Paper by Kade Javanalikhikara showcases somewhat unseen works on paper that Kade Javanalikhikara had been working on for 31 years. While being an explorative artist, he had also been a respected lecturer, taking mentorship for generations of artists. Some of these works coexist alongside his other artistic practices, whereas some can be credited as their own studies. They reveal fragments of his ideas, observations, and experimental approaches. This exhibition also takes an educational attitude to review how he studied, revisited and reevaluated his arts. Go upstairs to experience Kade’s mapping journey.
