Concert Overview:
The acclaimed Venu Nadam series proudly reintroduces the Vamshika Quintet, Singapore’s pioneering Indian bamboo flute ensemble. Delve into seven original compositions, a melange of intercultural musical nuances, crafted by the globally revered flautist and composer, Vidwan Amith Nadig, and conducted by Dr. Ghanavenothan Retnam. Prior to the concert, an insightful workshop by Vidwan Amith Nadig is set for 22nd March 2024 at Music Love Yoga, beginning at 7:30 pm.

Experience an enchanting blend of flute melodies, featuring prominent regional flautists accompanied by Lazar Sebastian (Violin), Lalit Kumar Ganesh (Tabla), Jayagowtham Annadurai (Mirdangam) featuring soloists – Jonathan Tan (Dizi), Rachel Ho (Western Flute), and Samuel Phua (Saxophone).
