Romei is drawn from “Romei Karah” in Mizo language from North-East India. It is a term that means lingering between the fog. Romei explores the act of repeating, reforming and restarting life.
This show is multilingual and intercultural. Directed by Rhian Hew, a theatre maker from Sabah, Malaysia, it features a cast from Macau, India, Malaysia and the Philippines. All of them are graduates of Intercultural Theatre Institute (ITI).
