SUMMARY:Extinction Feast《
DESCRIPTION:Jeff wants to do the right thing. So does his brother. And his mother. And his sister-in-law. So an important discussion over family dinner should go smoothly… right? \nInspired by Eating Chilli Crab in the Anthropocene\, Extinction Feast is a playful black comedy about Asian culture\, fish consumption and our pesky conscience.  \nDirector Ang Xiao Ting assembles an international team of collaborators to create a multidisciplinary theatrical feast combining performance\, multimedia and live foley. Blending storytelling and dining\, the production also features canapés by Ah Hua Kelong. \nExtinction Feast is a Practice Tuckshop production\, and was first staged to a sold-out run at Singapore Writers’ Festival 2021.

SUMMARY:almost home《
DESCRIPTION:If home is where the heart is\,\nwhat do you do when your heart says\, \n“Actually… Is it ok if I don’t want to go home?” \nKuala Lumpur-born\, Singapore-based Ng Mun Poh has spent the last 18 years of her life travelling between her two “homes”. As she should. \nIn a monodrama equal parts heartfelt and humorous\, almost home dramatises the struggle of finding her place in a home where nothing\, and yet so much has changed. \nA first version of the work\, Daughter\, was received with rave reviews as part of Practice’s It’s Not About The Numbers series in September 2021. It has since been brilliantly reimagined for a black box stage in collaboration with director Yeo Lyle and dramaturg Neo Hai Bin. \n***\nThis project is supported by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and funded through the Singapore Chinese Cultural Contribution Award.
