Touch\, feel and create as you go on a pilgrimage of memories through whimsical and playful interactive kinetic installations that take you on a journey through time and space.  \nMany were once drawn to a place where the winds crossed\, where the paths connecting East and West met. There\, they traded\, made a living\, and learned—acquiring knowledge that stretched beyond the borders of their homelands. It was also a safe harbour\, as they waited for the monsoon winds to change and carry them onwards to their destinations.  \nSoon\, this place became home\, and they reshaped the land to suit their lives. The nurturing trees fed their new ideas and ways of doing things\, and with their insatiable and unceasing appetites\, the trees made way for a landscape that would be forever changed.

On 26 October 2024\, join over 300 (and counting!) fellow artists and art lovers at the picturesque Empress Lawn of the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall for a memorable morning of creativity and community. Capture the stunning beauty of the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall and create your masterpiece in this historic venue as we celebrate an iconic landmark of Singapore’s history. \n  \nSupported by programme partner\, Art Apart\, Sketch Up 2024 invites artists and art enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds to capture the historical and architectural charm of the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall. Registered participants in attendance on event day will receive a goodie bag* (worth $20) and attendees are required to bring their own sketching materials for the event.
