Duration:  20 min

In our latest podcast, Thai theatre critic Amitha Amranand gives a comprehensive overview of the media landscape in Thailand, discussing the impact of the political and legal system on the arts and the paradoxical freedom that arts journalists have in the country.

This presentation was part of a series of Country Media Presentations given at the inaugural Asian Arts Media Roundtable, organised by ArtsEquator, which ran from 23 to 25 May 2019. All presentation slides and photos of the Roundtable can be viewed here. A previous podcast episode on the media landscape in the Philippines can be found here.
