DESCRIPTION:The Creative Writing Program of the University of the Philippines Department of Filipino and Philippine Literature (DFPP) and the International Board on Books for Young People Philippines (IBBY Philippines) is calling for writers of children’s literature\, particularly in the genres of poetry and short fiction\, to join the 2nd Rene O Villanueva Workshop. A tribute to Rene O. Villanueva\, pioneer writer for children\, the workshop proper happens July 11 to 13 at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
