SUMMARY:All The World’s A Sea 《
DESCRIPTION:Synopsis \nSeeking anchor in a world buffeted by unrest\, All The World’s A Sea presents the journeys of the uprooted and displaced — where despair and oppression sit alongside hope and resistance. \nA captured nose. A body in limbo. A transplanted tongue.\nAberrant eyes. Ears lost in translation. Consciousness gone rogue. \nWho am I? What am I? \nInspired by the Buddhist philosophy of Ayatana (six senses)\, director Kuo Jian Hong builds upon her 2018 epic I came at last to the seas (commissioned for Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts) for a bold new reimagination. Bringing together an international team from Singapore\, Malaysia\, Taiwan\, Hong Kong\, Nanjing and USA\, the interdisciplinary epic fuses evocative storytelling with ambitious scenographic design. \nAll The World’s A Sea is presented by The Theatre Practice\, in collaboration with Esplanade — Theatres on the Bay\, and features performers from Hong Kong Repertory Theatre\, Jiangsu Performing Arts Group (Kun Opera Theatre) and Sun Son Theatre. \nProgramme Details\nDate: 01 – 04.08.2024\nTime: 2.30pm (Sat – Sun)\, 8pm (Thu – Sat)\nVenue: Singtel Waterfront Theatre at Esplanade\nLanguage: Performed in Mandarin (with English surtitles)\nDuration: 95 mins (No intermission)\nTicket Price: From $48 (+ $4 booking fees)\nShows on 3 Aug will be recorded for archival and future publicity purposes. \n节目资讯\n日期：01 – 04.08.2024\n时间：2.30pm（六～日）、8pm（四～六）\n地点：滨海艺术中心新电信水滨剧院\n语言：华语演出（附英文字幕）\n时长：95分钟（无中场休息）\n票价：$48起（＋$4订票手续费）\n8月3日的两场演出皆为录影场 \nTicket Prices\nCAT 1: $68 (+$4 booking fee)\nCAT 2: $58 (+$4 booking fee)\nPreview (01.08.2024) \nCAT 1: $58 (+$4 booking fee)\nCAT 2: $48 (+$4 booking fee) \n票价\nCAT 1: $68（＋$4订票手续费）\nCAT 2: $58（＋$4订票手续费） \n预演场 Preview (01.08.2024)\nCAT 1: $58（＋$4订票手续费）\nCAT 2: $48（＋$4订票手续费） \nPromotions\nDiscounts applicable to all shows (excluding preview) unless otherwise stated.\nLimited discounted tickets per show.\nEarly Bird: 15% Discount (ends 31.05.2024)\nEsplanade&Me Specials*\nEarly Bird (ends 31.05.2024) \n\nBlack: 20% discount\nWhite: 15% discount\nDiscover: 15% discount (min. 2 tickets)\n\nGeneral Sales (ends 31.07.2024) \n\nBlack: 15% discount\nWhite: 10% discount\nDiscover: 10% discount (min. 2 tickets)\n*Enter valid promo code\n\nMarketing Partners: 10% Discount (ends 31.07.2024) \n\nPAssion Card members enjoy discount with valid promo code\n\nStudent/Senior/NSF Concession: 10% Discount (ends 31.07.2024) \n优惠\n适用所有场次（预演场除外），除非另有说明。

SUMMARY:The Last Gardener 《

SUMMARY:Extinction Feast《
DESCRIPTION:Jeff wants to do the right thing. So does his brother. And his mother. And his sister-in-law. So an important discussion over family dinner should go smoothly… right? \nInspired by Eating Chilli Crab in the Anthropocene\, Extinction Feast is a playful black comedy about Asian culture\, fish consumption and our pesky conscience.  \nDirector Ang Xiao Ting assembles an international team of collaborators to create a multidisciplinary theatrical feast combining performance\, multimedia and live foley. Blending storytelling and dining\, the production also features canapés by Ah Hua Kelong. \nExtinction Feast is a Practice Tuckshop production\, and was first staged to a sold-out run at Singapore Writers’ Festival 2021.

SUMMARY:almost home《
DESCRIPTION:If home is where the heart is\,\nwhat do you do when your heart says\, \n“Actually… Is it ok if I don’t want to go home?” \nKuala Lumpur-born\, Singapore-based Ng Mun Poh has spent the last 18 years of her life travelling between her two “homes”. As she should. \nIn a monodrama equal parts heartfelt and humorous\, almost home dramatises the struggle of finding her place in a home where nothing\, and yet so much has changed. \nA first version of the work\, Daughter\, was received with rave reviews as part of Practice’s It’s Not About The Numbers series in September 2021. It has since been brilliantly reimagined for a black box stage in collaboration with director Yeo Lyle and dramaturg Neo Hai Bin. \n***\nThis project is supported by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and funded through the Singapore Chinese Cultural Contribution Award.
