DESCRIPTION:Galerie 5 by Sol Luminaire presents a show of art and lighting featuring artwork by local artist Bbblob. Under her moniker Bbblob\, Jacelyn Zhen  showcases sculptural works and paintings inspired by the concept of “Radiant Traces”. Traces are like memories. Moments in time. Every stroke\, forms a layer that shapes us. The show explores works that imagine the vivid experience of a memory. \nBbblob creates forms that embrace and contrast.Through soft gradients and radiant compositions\, the works shift from one plane to another. They suggest changing landscapes\, where our recollections integrate and rearrange into different facets of the self. \nWoodcuts featuring marks\, multiple layers and canvases that connect across panels. These details draw on a natural rhythm and can be viewed from various angles. In her abstract works\, Bbblob plays with colour and texture to present a range of shaped works\, paintings\, collages and monotypes. They invite viewers to step into her colours and interact with both the present works and imagined layers between.
