DESCRIPTION:The space of Open Farm Community is reimagined where F &B\, music\, dance\, fashion\, visual arts\, integrate into an immersive flamenco-inspired experience Ticket includes a specially curated dinner with one drink and 4 hours of non stop entertainment and immersive experiences. \nHighlights include a giant paella cooking demo\, an especially curated runway show featuring traditional costumes and modern everyday wear that come alive with that twist of Ole! We also experiment with sustainable flamenco fashion with recycled clothes and materials. \nMusic and dance accompany all aspects of this fiesta\, including a performance by Flamenco Sin Fronteras company dancers and special guest musicians David Caro and Miguel Lavi from Spain. Hear and watch their expressions of the journey to trace roots of Flamenco from its Indian\, Arabic influences to its birth in Andalusia. Guest artiste y/x will paint live alongside the performance – so our dance traverses stage and canvas. \nMusic bands playing Gypsy folk\, Spanish and Latin Jazz music including Kailin Yong Trio\, Junes Ahidar\, Alina Ramirez\, Lalit Kumar and others\, will invigorate your senses and transport you to another world. Visual art interactions include specially curated works by artist y/x\, photographers Tan Ngiap Heng\, Alan Ng and Wilson Tan to create a visual story of Flamenco and Time. \nGet yourselves up and moving! Activities include cajon and dance workshops\, a Flamenco photobooth called the Ole! Station\, and roving sketch artistes that will create your story. \nRounding off the evening will be special dance performances by Royalusion – a dance company with strong emphasis on diversity and cross culture. To celebrate closing of the festival\,DJ will be spinning dance music that will bring out timeless moves – be ready!

DESCRIPTION:Singapore Flamenco Festival 2023 \nGet ready for an unforgettable Flamenco Journey 13-15 Oct ! \n13 Oct\, 8pm: Reflections of Time: Triple Bill \nA groundbreaking triple bill by the Flamenco Sin Fronteras company\, “Reflections of Time” starts with a dance drama of a man tranversing the realms of life and death; then a meditation of the meaning of  time in TS Elliot’s Burnt Norton\, and lastly a de-construction and interplay of rhythms\, time and space between 3 cultures \n14 Oct\, 8pm/ 15 Oct\, 3pm: The Golden Age of Flamenco \n‘The Golden Age of Flamenco” brings us back in Time\, to a period where the history of Flamenco was created. We pay tribute to the purity of music\, dance\, song that make our archives come alive with 4 of the best Flamenco artistes in Spain today\, featuring Luis de Luis\,Claudia la debla\, Miguel Lavi and David Caro.
