SUMMARY:In Times To Come
DESCRIPTION:The passing of an event\, an incident\, and even the change in weather rides on time. Time could be slippery and swift with unfolding scenes\, yet it could also be persistent and measured with yearnings. \n𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 presents image-based works by seven Malaysian artists as part of the Crossing SEA series\, exploring time in the wake of occurrences and societal flux\, alongside the ongoing portrayal of nationhood and self in our contemporary world. \nCrossing SEA is DECK’s ongoing exploration on contemporary photography in Southeast Asia. In its third edition\, this multidisciplinary exhibition explores reflective moments\, inviting contemplation when time seems to slow down and becomes precarious in one’s mind. \nFeatured Artists:\nAhmad Fuad Osman\, Eiffel Chong\, Minstrel Kuik\, Nadirah Zakariya\, Sherman Ong\, Vincent Leong\, Wilfred Lim. \nCurated by Gwen Lee \n𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞\n20 Jan to 25 Feb 2024\nPart of Singapore Art Week\nSupported by National Arts Council\, GR.iD Singapore and Gaw Capital Partners \n𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞\n20 Jan 2024 (Sat): 11am to 1pm\nGR.iD Singapore (Level 7)\n1 Selegie Road\, Singapore 188306 \nRSVP at intimestocome.eventbrite.sg
