The name Kali is derived from the feminine form of Kala (time)\, signifying the ever-changing nature of existence—where time births\, sustains\, and eventually dissolves all things. Kali embodies liberation (moksha)\, and her transformative energy dissolves injustice\, granting ultimate freedom.
