IMPART Awards 2019 Open Call for Submissions
Calling all Singaporean & PR Visual Artists and Curators: The IMPART Awards 2019 is now officially OPEN for submissions!
The IMPART Awards will confer SGD 20,000 in funding: SGD 15,000 in cash towards your art practice and SGD 5,000 towards a 4-day exchange in New York City with visits to the Asia Society Museum, The Whitney and MOMA organized by Art Outreach. Winners will also enjoy exposure at the IMPART Awards Gala during Art Week 2019 and be invited to participate in all IMPART Initiatives.

Centre 42 Open Call for 2019 Citizen Reviewers
If you love watching theatre performances and putting your thoughts about them down in writing, then we’d like to invite you to become a Citizen Reviewer.
Citizens’ Reviews is a yearly programme that gives up-and-coming theatre critics the opportunity to hone their craft, and join a growing community of fellow reviewers. Selected participants will be given tickets to attend performances, and their reviews will be edited and uploaded onto our website.

Fronter Danceland: Marketing Executive
You will be part of a small, intimate and motivated company setting, working towards the common goal of producing high-quality contemporary dance, increasing awareness of the art form locally, and spreading the company’s reach regionally and internationally. You will be able to contribute towards decision-making processes, and provide creative suggestions to strive towards this goal. You will assist in the ongoing marketing effort administered by Frontier Danceland and contribute to the smooth proceedings of company events and activities and uphold Frontier Danceland’s reputationas a diverse contemporary dance company.

The NUS Museum Internship Programme
The NUS Museum Internship Programme aims to engage students by introducing them to museum work, providing research opportunities, developing skills, and access to mentorship. Through this programme, we aim to build a rapport with students and encourage their interests in the arts and heritage. By working as part of the museum team, many learning opportunities will be available, enabling students to gain greater insight into the workings and resources within the NUS Museum.

Lighting and Sound Design Application and Appreciation Course by Lim Woan Wen and Darren Ng
For five days in November, award winning designers Darren Ng and Lim Woan Wen will expound on the useful and practical technical and theoretical skills on sound/lighting designs, as well as share their work practices with participants to help them appreciate the use and inner-workings of sound and lighting in theatre-making. These sessions are open to all practitioners and interested parties, even if they have no prior technical knowledge (although some experience in theatre-making, professional or otherwise, is preferred).

Workshop: Accessibility in Mind
With the support of Temasek Foundation Nurtures, Singapore Repertory Theatre is proud to host the first of the series of Access workshops – Accessibility in Mind. This workshop is conducted by long-time Access practitioner and consultant Trish Hodson. This is a comprehensive one-day workshop that focusses on improving Accessibility in your venue and embedding it across your organisation. It encourages participants to consider access as being much more than having a ramp or a lift in place and offers a practical, basics first approach to every day Access improvements.

Borak Arts Series 2018 Pitchpad sessions
Borak Arts Series’ Pitchpad creates a forum for all involved in the arts to present or discover new performing arts projects. This year’s Pitchpad will have up to 10 submissions to pitch their works to performing arts professionals including presenters, festival directors and venue programmers.
PITCHPAD platform has seen more than 40 artist pitch their works to more then 170 performing arts professionals, including presenters, festival directors and venue programmers and as a result, have secure additional project support, representation, performance engagements, international exposure, premiere locations and touring opportunities to over 25 countries such as Japan, Australia, America, South Korea, Denmark, Belgium and more.
