Featuring 27 pieces from the National Collection and loans\, the exhibition spotlights the historic global impact of textile production in India\, and its role as evidence of trade and cultural exchange between India and regions such as the Middle East\, Southeast Asia\, and Europe from the fourteenth to nineteenth century. From fashion and furnishing\, to gift exchange and heirlooms\, visitors can marvel at the artistry and craftsmanship of early textile masters\, and discover how Indian textiles influenced local designs\, materials and fashions wherever they were traded.

DESCRIPTION:Experience the Civic District afresh this August 2023 onwards\, with Benchmarks\, a new public art trail commissioned by the Civic District Alliance (CDA). SUMMARY:Sound Plot: True/South\, A Collection of Audio Plays
DESCRIPTION:𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗼𝘁: 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲/𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 is a collection of audio plays responding to the geographical area of Tanjong Pagar/Pasir Panjang where the Singapore Art Museum currently resides. With audio design by Artwave Studio\, the plays first premiered as part of Singapore Art Week\, each with an audio spot installation at the museum and now available online as well. \nThe three short audio plays (of which the latter 2 were selected through our Open Call) are: \nSea Song  \nAdvisory: Contains some coarse language \nLaurie and Scott settle into their new expatriate lives at Sentosa Cove only to discover that not all is as it seems. DESCRIPTION:Everyday Practices is the inaugural exhibition at Singapore Art Museum (SAM)’s new collection gallery at Tanjong Pagar Distripark\, marking the opening of a dedicated space featuring artworks from the SAM collection that reflect contemporary global practices and life today.  \nThe exhibition features 21 artworks from 19 artists and 1 artist collective from 10 countries across Asia\, whose practices span different generations and media. Inspired by renowned performance artist Hsieh Tehching’s seminal work\, One Year Performance 1978-1979\, it delves into the themes of everyday life\, examining the repetitive nature of daily activities and the physical endurance they demand. Through the Everyday Practices\, visitors can discover how everyday actions can be transformed into meaningful gestures amidst adversity. The public can also look forward to a variety of programmes and activities designed to foster diverse conversations inspired by SAM’s collection.

It intends to combine: \n\nthe magic of hearing an artist or bookmaker share about their process\, and\nthe luxury of time and comfort when reading in a library.\n\nAn art book is a curious object—it’s an artwork you can touch and carry around. It can have pictures and texts\, or many pictures and no text\, or even texts and no pictures. \nArt books afford a private space and mode of encounter that can be revisited freely and repeatedly. While I love the conversations surrounding books and their makers at an art fair\, it’s an awfully extroverted endeavour. [collected on paper] offers a chance to explore different art books and the creators’ thoughts in an intimate setting\, with notes on their processes and materials.” \nMODE \nA selection of books will be presented alongside a book club under a particular idea on each occasion. The showcase is held within an existing art book library\, allowing the books to be encountered in the context of other art books. \nThe first occasion will reflect on the idea of time capsules. On this occasion\, the books selected for discussions related to time capsules contain images that share certain qualities with the capsules themselves: \n\nmost of the images in these books were not originally intended to become part of a book.\nthese images\, like most in books\, gain additional readings over time\, but they also become irreplicable\, as the shift in time directly impacts their context.\n\n[collected on paper] is co-programmed by Hong Shu-ying and Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film. \n\nOccasion #1: Time Capsules  \nA time capsule is a container where things are well-kept and protected from the elements. I’ve always found it fascinating that everyday objects can become archived and emblematic of their era once they are placed in a time capsule. These items aren’t necessarily exclusive or rare but serve as a snapshot of what the capsule’s creator valued at that moment. The very existence of a time capsule implies that care and resources have been dedicated to preserving these objects. \nOn this occasion\, the books selected for discussions related to time capsules contain images that share certain qualities with the capsules themselves: \n\nmost of the images in these books were not originally intended to become part of a book.\nthese images\, like most in books\, gain additional readings over time\, but they also become irreplicable\, as the shift in time directly impacts their context.\n\nBooks Featured 📚📚📚 \n\nAparna Nori – 24 Slides\nGeorge Wong – Wallet\nLai Yu Tong – Things I Bought\, Things I Threw Away\, Things I Ate\, Things I Saw\, Things I Made\, and Other Things (For Future Reference)\nLou / Atelier HOKO – Spider & Man\n\n\nAbout Hong Shu-ying \nHong Shu-ying 方舒颖 is an artist who collects and works with found images and materials. She recontextualises familiar sights and sounds to highlight patterns\, repetitions\, and contradictions related to inheritance and ways of learning. \nHer recent projects delve into informal archives\, which act like personal and communal time capsules that encapsulate the banalities and peculiarities of life. These include handwritten elements found in scores and annotations\, alongside amateur videos and images. This fascination is informed by her experiences growing up in amateur Chinese orchestras and the internet. \nShu holds a BFA (Hons) in Media Art (Photography) from Nanyang Technological University\, School of Art\, Design\, and Media. She was awarded the Kwek Leng Joo Prize of Excellence in Photography and featured in the 6th Women in Film and Photography Showcase by Objectifs (Singapore). Recently\, she had her first solo presentation at Esplanade (Singapore) as part of the Singapore Art Week 2024. She has participated in exhibitions\, showcases\, and festivals internationally\, including in Austria\, Cambodia\, China\, Germany\, Indonesia\, Italy\, Malaysia\, the Netherlands\, South Korea\, Taiwan\, and Thailand.

DESCRIPTION:Singapore Art Museum (SAM) presents Rattan Eco Sprawl: Manifesting the Forest\, a newly commissioned artwork by Singaporean artist Zen Teh. This installation is part of Port/raits of Tanjong Pagar\, a public art trail by The Everyday Museum that brings artistic perspectives into everyday spaces in the Tanjong Pagar neighbourhood. It joins other works on the trail by five other artists Aki Hassan\, Divaagar\, Space Objekt\, Grace Tan and Isabella Teng. \nNestled in a tranquil\, lush corner of Spottiswoode Park\, Rattan Eco Sprawl is crafted primarily from rattan\, with forms inspired by natural elements such as mountains and mounds where insects dwell — the same formations that have also influenced sacred structures like Cambodia’s Angkor Wat. Live plants encroach on the structure’s exterior\, while the interior of the work\, with its lowered ceilings and narrowed passageways resembles a space where the natural world can be contemplated and nurtured.  \nSet against the backdrop of Singapore’s rapidly changing urban landscape\, Rattan Eco Sprawl reflects on the entanglement of nature and urban development. Through collaborating with rattan and wood artisans\, an ecologist\, and study of the local environments\, Rattan Eco Sprawl highlights our fragile\, intertwined relationship with nature. \nIn conjunction with the launch of the work on 6 October 2024\, a special artist talk will take place on the same day at SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark. The programme features a short film screening on the making of the work and a talk by artist Zen Teh who will discuss her interdisciplinary approach. Also present are the key collaborators of the work — the rattan artisans from Cambodia. Participants will have a chance to learn from the artisans\, weaving techniques used to create the installation. DESCRIPTION:Homing InstinctAnanta Thitanat\, Ari Angkasa\, Dieneke Jansen\, Kahurangiariki Smith with Buntheun Oung8 October – 2 December 2024 \nHoming Instinct is a collaborative moving image project featuring artist commissions related to housing\, home and belonging. It is a partnership between The Physics Room (Ōtautahi)\, CIRCUIT (Te Whanganui-a-Tara)\, Composite (Naarm)\, and STORAGE (Bangkok); the project will be shown at each of the sites of its three new commissions. As such\, the work also shifts through states of belonging and meeting for the first time\, hosting and being hosted\, being located and being in transit. The first iteration of Homing Instinct was launched at The Physics Room and Enjoy Contemporary Art Space in Aotearoa\, New Zealand\, in July. Now\, it’s time for Bangkok to embrace this transformative journey.Homing Instinct began with a conversation around housing inequalities in Aotearoa. It evolved into an exhibition project with three new moving image commissions by Ananta Thitanat\, Ari Angkasa\, and Kahurangiariki Smith with Buntheun Oung. These are accompanied by an existing work by Dieneke Jansen\, which sparked this series of new commissions. Collectively\, Homing Instinct intends to hold a metaphorical prism in front of ideas we may have about housing\, home and belonging\, generating more expansive conversations about identity and its connections to place.Selected from an open call by each commissioning organisation\, these works take a distinct perspective\, yet the currents of identity and diaspora and reflections on family histories form points of convergence. These works have been developed with an awareness that they will move across different cultural contexts\, yet arguably they each deploy strategic acts of resistance to easy consumption. The works rely on translation\, nonlinear narrative logic or multiple temporalities\, and as such they disrupt any expectation of seamless transition between contexts.

DESCRIPTION:11 October 2024 to 31 August 2025 \nDaily\, 10am–7pm | Fridays\, 10am–9pm \nPeranakan Museum \n$6 for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents; $18 for Foreigners \nFamily\, art\, and entrepreneurship converge in the story of three visionary Peranakan women from Indonesia – Nyonya Oeij Soen King\, her daughter-in-law Nyonya Oeij Kok Sing\, and her granddaughter Jane Hendromartono. From the 1890s to 1980s\, they produced impressive batiks in the renowned batik centre of Pekalongan on Java’s north coast. \nFeaturing about 200 batik textiles and accompanying objects\, Batik Nyonyas: Three Generations of Art and Entrepreneurship examines the lives and careers of these Peranakan women through their works. With batik as a portrait of society\, the exhibition reveals the influence of the Oeij family women as they became batik masters in their own right\, as they ingeniously responded to the rapid political\, cultural and economic changes of their time to run a business that produced great art. Visitors are invited to draw links to the development and evolution of Indonesian batik through a Peranakan perspective\, and to participate in hands-on workshops\, performances and tours. The exhibition will also feature a contemporary art commission by Aiko Tezuka\, an artist specialised in producing art based on the unravelling of woven fabric.

In continuation of the first exhibition at Silpakorn University in 2022 commemorating the artist’s return to his alma mater\, this historic exhibition now journeys to Singapore\, bringing with it a new myriad of selections from local and regional private collections. \nInitiated in 2019\, the Déjà vu series proposes an alternative interpretation of history by reframing Western classical knowledge alongside Eastern and Buddhist concepts. This exhibition presents a hypothesis of a reimagined space and time\, encouraging the audience to consider scenarios of “what if”—how different historical events might have altered our socio-cultural present. The Déjà vdu series draws inspiration from the artist’s experience in Naples\, where a chance encounter with a marble sculpture at the Museo Archeologico sparked a profound connection. This moment of Déjà vu merged memories of Thailand’s Walking Buddha with the classical Western figure\, leading the artist to probe further into the intersections between Eastern and Western cultures. \nNatee Utarit’s exploration through the series is deeply personal\, yet it resonates with universal themes of memory\, identity\, and culture. Through a diverse array of mediums—including painting\, sculpture\, embroidery\, stained glass\, and woodcut—the works serve as a reminder that history is not linear\, but cyclical; that the past\, present\, and future are constantly intertwined in ways that shape our perceptions of the world. By challenging the boundaries of historical plausibility\, the exhibition offers viewers a space to consider the possibilities that emerge when traditional narratives are turned on their heads\, symbolically represented by the paradoxical notion of the sun rising in the west. \nDéjà vu: When the Sun Rises in the West is the final instalment of The Private Museum’s 2024 programming—offering a fitting closure to a year of diverse artistic and cultural exploration. DESCRIPTION:“Who is Weaving the Sky Net?” brings together eight artists who explore textile\, fabric\, and weaving as metaphors to question the construction of our universe and existence. The title\, borrowed from an essay on science and philosophy by physician Nguyen Tuong Bach\, draws on the delicate interplay between quantum physics and Buddhist thought. In his reflection\, Nguyen unearths profound yet simple truths: we\, as human beings\, weave the fabric of our realities much like a sky net—often unaware of our role as creators. Entangled in the intricate webs of our own making\, we forget we are their architects\, lost in the stories we script and perform.\n\nThe reference to “Lưới trời Đế Thích” (Indra’s Net) deepens this philosophical inquiry. As a symbol of the interconnectedness of all things\, Indra’s Net suggests that each part mirrors and influences the whole\, revealing the boundless complexity of existence. This eternal question of reality versus illusion—like the dream-like play we both create and inhabit—remains unanswered\, lingering as an open meditation.\n\nThe artists of “Who is Weaving the Sky Net?” weave their narratives and materials with a shared grace\, drawing connections between fabric and life’s delicate interconnectedness. Through distinct approaches and methods\, they engage this age-old inquiry: Doan Van Toi’s work\, rooted in Buddhist philosophy\, resonates with a peaceful acceptance of life\, while Leila Seyedzadeh’s pieces are imbued with poetic reflections on homeland. SUMMARY:The Return of Raja Durian
DESCRIPTION:Penang is a durian kingdom. A rich\, storied connection with the fruit has made the island one of the centers of durian cultivation in Malaysia\, if not the world. At the heart of this durian empire is a family-run conglomerate\, Durian King.  FAMEME\, heir to this empire\, has led a fabulously colourful\, nomadic life abroad as an entrepreneur and entertainer. He finally returned to the land of his birth in 2017\, rejoining the family business. \n“ The Return of Raja Durian” marks FAMEME’s homecoming\, and an introduction to a figure otherwise little-known in Penang. The exhibition presents a collection of objects and documents that reveals the vicissitudes of his personal history\, and his creative transformation of his family’s durian business. Artist and filmmaker Yu Cheng-Ta has produced a new documentary about FAMEME’s life\, screening for the first time in this exhibition. The film offers an intimate look at his life\, told through the gaze of a Taiwanese director. It delves behind his signature oversized sunglasses to trace the history of the Chinese immigrant community in Penang\, and details FAMEME’s relationships with his family and struggles with self-identity\, as he carves out his own durian empire.

SUMMARY:2024 Asian Art Biennial Announces the Grand Opening
DESCRIPTION:Organised by National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA)\, the Asian Art Biennial has opened on 16 November 2024 and will be on display until 2 March 2025. Co-curated by Fang Yen Hsiang (Taiwan)\, Anne Davidian (Armenia)\, Merv Espina (the Philippines)\, Haeju Kim (South Korea)\, and Asli Seven (Turkey)\, the Biennial will feature works from 35 local and international artists under the title of “How to Hold Your Breath”\, inviting viewers to take a deep breath and hold their breath while imagining a new future.\nThe title of the 2024 Asian Art Biennial\, “How to Hold Your Breath\,” evokes the act of voluntarily pausing a vital function\, creating a state of anticipation. A twist on the saying “don’t hold your breath\,” a warning not to expect change soon\, is inverted here to suggest latent hope.\nTaking a deep breath and holding it anchors us in the present moment. As the world unravels into new sublevels of rock bottom\, we continue to migrate and navigate through the din and dust\, between place and displacement in this late capitalist fallout. This act of calming the breath and setting the mind prepares for transitioning from one reality to another\, in a movement of transformation. It is an interval\, to listen to the inaudible and retune with the metabolic rhythms of our bodies and the planet.\nThrough a variety of media\, the artworks presented in the Biennial challenge progressive and universal notions of time\, revealing instead how histories are tied to people\, places\, and positions.\nMarwa Arsanios\, an artist and researcher based between Beirut and Berlin\, introduces a new chapter of her multifaceted project Who is Afraid of Ideology\, examining entrenched ownership ideologies and proposing non-expropriative practices related to natural resources\, agriculture\, housing\, and knowledge. For the Taiwan edition\, the project collaborates with curator Tsai Ming-Jiun\, artists and writers Wu Ke-Wei and Tsai Yu-Jou (Kuanntian Studio)\, and farmers from Tainan to convene reading sessions and a public conversation during the Biennial’s opening. This program invites audiences to dismantle possessive imaginaries and explore alternative ways of living harmoniously with nature. The exhibition features a film documenting the transformation of private land in Lebanon into common plot\, alongside textiles and drawings\, connecting these struggles to a broader historical perspective. Displayed in Taichung as city banners\, the Chart for the Usership of the Land\, offers a poetic protocol for new forms of communal property.\nYoshinori Niwa’s practice intervenes in public spaces to unravel societal conditions and create new horizons by pushing economic and ideological systems to absurdity. Among artist’s earlier works\, two new commissions have been produced in Taichung specifically for the Biennial. In Purchasing a Rice Ball at Convenience Stores for 24 Hours\, Niwa repeatedly buys the same rice ball he already owns\, questioning ideas of ownership and wealth. Requesting People in Taiwan Who I Met by Chance to Declare if They Die\, Taiwan Will Disappear revisits a past project where individuals proclaimed identification with their nation. Niwa revives this in Taichung\, questioning whether a country is defined by its people or geopolitical status.\nThe Unseen Presence is a recent series by Milay Mavaliw\, conveyed through woven installations that explore the connections between family and tribe\, transcending time and space. Inspired by the ritual blessings and prayers her Puyuma shaman grandmother performed before Milay embarked on her journeys\, these became a spiritual force that accompanies her\, anchoring her to her tribe. In her works\, organic lines and forms interweave and propagate throughout the space as a manifestation of energy. Viewers are invited to immerse themselves in the present moment\, in a space where collective forces are summoned.\nHwayeon Nam’s film 2 loosely follows the traces of two women\, Choi Seung-Hee (1911–1969) and Tsai Jui-Yueh (1921–2005)\, two pioneers of modern dance in Korea and Taiwan\, respectively. Beyond their artistic achievements\, the lives of these two women\, separated by a decade\, also reflect the trajectory of modern and contemporary Asian history\, marked by colonialism and Cold War ideology. In this film\, two narrators\, two historical figures\, two actors\, two cities\, and two houses are arranged in a disjointed yet interconnected manner.\nIn 2019\, Julia Sariesetiati and her collaborators proposed a platform named “PulangPergi”\, designed to share experiences between migrant workers. East Java is a major source of migrant workers in sectors like childcare\, elder care\, and domestic assistance. During her visit to PERTAKINA Indonesia\, Julia also visited Tulungagung and Kediri\, collaborating with former migrant workers to document everyday vocabulary and instructions used in their jobs. This documentation aims to bridge the gap between pre-departure language training and real-world work experience.\nWorking across diverse media—including large fabric paintings\, cartoon drawings\, and animations—Woosung Lee captures memories both distant and intimate. This exhibition presents a blend of earlier works alongside new paintings created after his 2024 visit to Taiwan. It features scenes and figures from Korean cities like Seoul and Gwangju\, alongside observations from Taipei and Taichung. By spotlighting individual characters and simultaneously emphasizing collective solidarity\, Lee emphasizes both personal identity and communal strength.\nThe Biennial will launch a series of public programs starting from its opening on 16 November\, including artist talks\, collective conversations\, experimental performances\, participation workshops\, guided tours\, screening programs.\nThe first exciting event will be Andrius Arutiunian’s Armen\, a speculative investigation of diasporic histories drawing from the artist’s collection of Armenian music. Reminiscent of Yerevan taxis blasting local pop\, it is published on an audio cassette and experienced during car rides in Taichung throughout the Biennial’s opening day.\nSharon Chin will present a participatory performance Portal on the opening night. This performance invites audiences to light oil lamps made from alcohol bottles discarded on an eroded beach in the artist’s town. Originally conceived as a celebration of two mangrove trees growing on the beach\, it is now a memorial\, as the trees were uprooted due to extreme weather just a few months before. We face transformations – ecological\, social\, political – on an unprecedented\, species-level scale. This work invokes the spirit of a place for insight on the inner transformations required for us to collectively weather this change.\n“How Breath Moves\,” the screening program of the 2024 Asian Art Biennial\, imagines breath as a collective cinematic device\, a shared source of life and rhythm\, moving across our bodies to technologies of light and projection\, through life\, death\, and rebirth\, to explore the production\, translation\, and circulation of images\, sounds\, memory\, and collective storytelling. Through a range of artistic strategies – including documentary essay\, performance video\, and animation – the eight films in this program provide critical historical contexts that enrich understanding of the exhibition’s core concerns. Pallavi Paul’s How Love Moves unpacks the intimate connection between breath\, soil\, and the hope and sorrow embodied in a gravekeeper’s daily life in India. SUMMARY:Open Call for Shorts - RawGround 25/26
DESCRIPTION:In our 6th edition\, RAW Moves is pleased to open our annual call for local and international artists to submit proposals for the next edition of RawGround (RG) 2025/26\, which will be running in February 2026*. \nPresented by RAW Moves in Singapore\, RawGround is designed to present a curated mini film showcase that fosters dialogue and broadens our perception of social norms. The short films\, created by artists and practitioners from various disciplines\, each reframe the aesthetics of the everyday through the lens of the individual. We welcome unorthodox\, conceptual works of narratives that redefine movement. \nApplicants are invited to conceptualise and create two new original short films~\, responding to this edition’s theme of “(Un)finished Work: In pursuit of the work of pretending”. \n\nThe Theme \nThe first of RAW Moves’ three-year exploration of “(Un)finished Work: In pursuit of ______” themes\, we delve into the paradigm of “pretending”: \n\n\n\n\nIn the work of “pretending”\, we explore the labour of balancing appearances and reality. As we externalise the self to connect with others\, we find these efforts can come at costs to ourselves. Going inward\, what are the personas we believe we need to uphold? Going forward\, what do we now shed – or shield – of ourselves? \n\n\n\n\nThe Process \nSelected artist-collaborators will be offered artist fees from RAW Moves for the conceptualisation and creation of the two films\, each ranging between 5 to 10 minute duration. In the staggered ten weeks creative process (From April 2025)\, each artist will be collaborating and supported by our Artistic Director and Resident Dramaturg to deliver two films. In addition to financial support\, appointed artist-collaborators will be able to develop their portfolio\, articulate ideas and enrich their creative processes through engaging diverse perspectives. This cultural exchange opportunity also offers visibility and chances to connect and interact with arts professionals and audiences from around the world. \n\n\n\n\nThe Presentation (3-days) \n\nFilm Screening Premiere\, Singapore\nThe final vignette of films will be launched at a physical screening session in Singapore^ in February 2026*\, which will include post-show dialogues at the end of the screening.\nArtists-led Workshops\, Singapore\nEach artist is required to host a 15 to 20 pax in-person workshop (1 – 1.5hour) that will engage the local arts community as an extension of their films’ narrative and concept. DESCRIPTION:Amazônia is a major exhibition by the award-winning photographer Sebastião Salgado (b. 1944\, Brazil). It spotlights the Amazon region and its ecosystems coming under the threat of deforestation and climate change\, while featuring the voices\, portraits\, and perspectives of the Indigenous communities who live in – and with – the largest rainforest on the planet. \nThis multisensory and immersive exhibition\, curated and designed by Lélia Wanick Salgado\, comprises over 200 photographs\, a soundtrack by Jean-Michel Jarre\, two projection rooms\, video testimonies from Indigenous leaders\, tactile image plates for the visually impaired\, and a space dedicated to Instituto Terra\, the reforestation non-governmental organisation founded by the Salgados. Amazônia powerfully demonstrates the beauty and majesty of the Amazon region\, while issuing an important call to protect and conserve what has been called “the lungs of the world”. \nThe exhibition features photographic artworks with male and female nudity and contains imagery of dead animals. Visitor discretion is advised.

DESCRIPTION:ShanghART Singapore is honoured to present Li Dezhuang’s solo exhibition “Well M Farmland” (井山田 Jing Shan Tian)\, opening next Sat\, 30 Nov\, at 4pm. This is the second time the artist has returned to Singapore to hold a solo exhibition\, since he left Singapore 24 years ago. Surrounding his iconic “Well M Farmland” series of paintings\, the exhibition strives to share fascinating stories from nearly half a century of his colourful and creative artistic practice. \nThe exhibition comprises selected highlights from his career\, providing an overview of his artistic practice spanning nearly half a century. From the earliest work created in the late 1970s\, to his subsequent revisiting of his “Abstract Landscape” series\, the exhibited works are threaded through “Well M Farmland – Square Puzzle”\, a landmark work created in Singapore during the Covid-19 years that depicts a fascinating narrative of Li’s personal reflection towards the pandemic. The gallery is pleased to reintroduce this globetrotting artist to the public eye through this exhibition\, giving local audiences the opportunity to have a glimpse into his illustrious journey.

DESCRIPTION:Pameran Poskad 2024\, the much-awaited exhibition\, is back this December holiday with more than 400 artists! \n  \nThe creative community in Singapore gathers across visual arts genres from contemporary art to illustration\, textile\, toys\, zines and more. Notable ‘first timer’ artists include Ming Wong and Jeremy Hiah\, with stalwarts Robert Zhao\, Ezzam Rahman\, Anthony Chua\, Ha Manh Thang\, Hong Sek Chern\, Lye Yau Fatt\, Sujak Rahman\, Sunar Sugiyou\, Tan Sock Fong\, Vasan Sitthiket and Victor Tan showing alongside 400 artists and creatives! Also featured in the exhibition are 45 Chinese ink drawings from Tasek ArtLab children\, painted in a workshop led by veteran Chinese ink painter Sunar Sugiyou. \nThis ninth edition of Pameran Poskad will be launched at ION Art\, ION Orchard on 2 December by Guest-of-Honour Ms Jane Ittogi\, Chair of Tasek Academy. The unique exhibition features about 3500 postcard-sized artworks on the wall and on tabletop by more than 400 artists\, hobbyists\, and creatives of all ages and backgrounds. Participants also hail from Malaysia\, Indonesia\, Taiwan\, India\, Japan and the United Kingdom. This is your opportunity to view Singapore’s most concentrated showcase of talent and creativity in an inclusive and vibrant community event. \nThe exhibition also hosts a curated feature Small Works\, comprising 36 artworks less than 50cm x 50cm in size by 18 leading Singapore and Southeast Asian artists.
