SUMMARY:Open Call: Playwright's Professional Development Residency
DESCRIPTION:After a joyous pilot run of the 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘄𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁’𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆\, we are thrilled to now invite applications for the next edition commencing May 2024! \nThis 2-year residency programme is for up to 4 early-career playwrights who are serious about focusing on their creative development\, and who could benefit from the rigour and challenge of this residency. These writers should also see themselves thriving in a writer’s group dynamic. \nCo-leads Joel Tan and Jean Tay will design and run the studio programme\, which aims to:\n⭐ Provide a space for residents to rigorously interrogate and develop their practice\n⭐ Provide numerous opportunities to write and build up a small portfolio of residency-specific work\n⭐ Provide multiple public presentation opportunities\n⭐ Directly connect the residents with theatre professionals through workshops\, talks\, and immersion opportunities

SUMMARY:A. Farm | Open Call for Funded Residency | Vietnamese Artists
DESCRIPTION:A. Farm\, a Saigon-based art residency\, in partnership with the Goethe Institut Ho Chi Minh City\, is now calling for applications for its Season 5 period. \nOne three-month funded residency is being offered to a Vietnamese artist working in any medium. The selected artist will be entitled to a tailored program\, including but not limited to consultations\, in-depth discussions\, group critiques and visits to local artist spaces to distill their proposal into concrete deliveries. At the end of the residency\, the artist will have the chance to showcase the works in A. Farm premises. The resident will be offered a talking partner—who may be an artist\, writer or curator—to generate critical dialogue. \nKeeping with A. Farm ethos\, the artist-in-residency has complete freedom in their practice; there are no obligations or limitations placed upon them. The main aim is to enable a change of perspective\, inspire collaboration and foster conversations and exchanges with local artists and the community. \nThe residency period is from 1st May to 31st July 2024 and artists are asked to apply if they are available for the full season. Within the residency period\, the artist is encouraged to lead a public workshop/presentation along with producing a new body of work. Open Studio and End of Season Festivals will provide the artist with the opportunity for critical feedback and the exhibition of their work. \nA. Farm offers the following for the successful applicant: \n\nA shared studio space\nA private bedroom with a bathroom and kitchenette\nAccess to A. Farm exhibition space for meetings and research\nProduction fund of VND 4\,000\,000/month\nStipend of VND 4\,000\,000/month\nTravel fund up to VND 5\,600\,000 (as reimbursement).\n\nApplication Procedure\nPlease submit by email to a.farm.saigon@gmail.com\, titled “<YOUR NAME> Application: Funded Residency at A.
