DESCRIPTION:Music by Eric Watson\, Maurice Ravel & Francis Poulenc\n\nTwo of Singapore’s most colourful pianists join re:Sound in this colourful celebration of world music. Francis Poulenc’s brilliant Concerto for Two Pianos is unmistakably French\, yet makes reference to other great music influences such as Mozart and the gamelan music of Bali. \nCultural Medallion recipient Eric Watson’s Arabesque for Flute\, composed for re:Sound\, is inspired by the ornamental designs that can be seen in many examples of ancient Islamic art.
