DESCRIPTION:Open to applicants in Southeast Asia  \n\n\n\nThe Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) is opening the call for image-based works and photobook publications for its 9th biennale edition. The open call welcomes submissions from photographers and artists worldwide and is non-thematic in nature. \n\n\n\nThis presents the opportunity for photographers and artists to have their works seen and reviewed by the festival’s distinguished Jury Panel of international professionals in the industry of contemporary arts\, photography\, and publishing. Shortlisted works will be presented in the 9th SIPF Open Call Showcase in Singapore\, a cornerstone festival platform for new discoveries in image-making and photography\, alongside curated festival highlights of some of the biggest names in the photography world. The 9th SIPF is taking place in Singapore from October 18 to November 24\, 2024. \nRegistration and Deadline \nSubmit at https://site.picter.com/sipf-opencall-2024\nDeadline: 10 May 2024\, 23:59 (GMT+8) \nOpen Call Categories \n\nPortfolio (a series of photography and image-based works)\nPhotobook (published or dummy publications)\n\n\n\n\nIn this Open Call\, selected recipients are also considered for the SIPF Open Call Award\, recognising artistic excellence and originality displayed in Open Call submissions. The award aims to support and encourage artists in their image-making practice\, with cash prizes disbursed to the creators of the selected works.
