The open call welcomes submissions from photographers and artists worldwide and is non-thematic in nature. \n\n\n\nThis presents the opportunity for photographers and artists to have their works seen and reviewed by the festival’s distinguished Jury Panel of international professionals in the industry of contemporary arts\, photography\, and publishing. Shortlisted works will be presented in the 9th SIPF Open Call Showcase in Singapore\, a cornerstone festival platform for new discoveries in image-making and photography\, alongside curated festival highlights of some of the biggest names in the photography world. DESCRIPTION:The Instituto Cervantes Manila celebrates the Day Of The Book on April 20 2024\, with multiple events at the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati. Along with a chosen selection of book sellers and local presses\, Dia Del Libro will also mark the opening of the WTA Open Library\, a collaboration between architecture studio WTA\, Ayala Land\, and Instituto Cervantes. This is an open library where books are “recycled” and exchanged. There is also Paseo de la Poesia\, a street that gathers Filipino\, Spanish\, and Latin American poetry\, with opening ceremonies and poetry reading at 11:00 AM.
