SUMMARY:“คราวเชียงแสนแตก” “When Chiang Saen Broke Down”
DESCRIPTION:Panel discussion and Opening of Home Jo int Art Space and art exhibition \n“When Chiang Saen Broke Down” an art exhibition that inspired by a local Lanna document which is a literary form of Lanna poetry that was used to record historical events regarding the expulsion of Burmese power from Lanna territory. This led to the evacuation of people in Chiang Saen to various cities for protection\, not allowing the Burmese to return to using Chiang Saen as a stronghold for the army. It also shows the emotions of both the soldiers who marched to attack\, and prisoners of war who had to leave their homes because they had to accept various tragedies. \nThis art exhibition showcases paintings and conversations to create connections between three generations:\n๐ “Ghosts” as the history of the past that is told through the historical writings of the area “Long Chiang Saen” from the perspective of historical scholars or those who study history\n๐ “Elderly people” as living history who can see the changes of the area “Long Chiang Saen” surrounding from the past to the present\n๐ “New Generation Artists/Children” as people who work in the arts and grew up in the area
