DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to introduce you to the enchanting world created by the talented Kazakh-Russian artist\, Inessa Kalabekova\, at the Music Box Museum in Singapore. Inessa’s latest exhibition\, inspired by the ancient Chinese story of the four dragons\, is a captivating fusion of mythical creatures and the whimsical charm of musical boxes. \nDuration of exhibition: 1 December 2023 -31 January 2024 \nAddress: Music Box Museum\, 168 Telok Ayer Street\, Singapore \nMeet the artist: 9 December\, Sat\, 11am-3pm\, 16 December\, Sat\, 11am-3pm\, 13 January Sat\, 11am-3pm\, 20 January\, Sat\, 11am-3pm. \nAbout artist: Hailing from Kazakhstan and Russia\, Inessa has travelled extensively in pursuit of her art. She sharpened her skills under renowned artists at Central St. Martin’s College of Arts in London\, the Ruskin School University of Oxford\, and the Russian Academy of Arts\, and has called Singapore her home for the last 18 years. Inessa had over 20 exhibitions in Singapore\, Shanghai\, London and Moscow. Her artworks are part of the permanent exhibition of Haegeumgang Theme Museum (South Korea)\, as well as private collections in over 11 countries inclusive of Japan\, Australia\, Portugal\, Austria\, USA\, and Dubai. The “Descendants of the Dragon” project will be further developed to become part of Inessa’s upcoming MFA student exhibition at Central Saint Martins

DESCRIPTION:AC43 Gallery proudly presents Anthologies Unearthed\, the debut solo exhibition of young Singapore artist Dominic Thian. Featuring 20 new oil works that explore the motif of flowers within the genre of Still Life\, the treatments vary from intimate etudes of local flowers to exercises in aesthetic arrangement. \nOpening with the artist in attendance is on Saturday\, 2 December 2023\, 3 – 5 pm. All are welcome! \nA special dialogue session featuring the artist and Eve Hoon\, Art Outreach Director (Programmes & Partnerships) is on Saturday\, 9 December\, 3 – 4 pm.
