DESCRIPTION:InstaGeylang is a community based photography challenge that encourages the public to snap and share their photos of Geylang Serai on social media.\nIt aims to promote creative activity and start a repository of collective memory for the Geylang Serai area over the years.\nThis year’s exhibition coincides with the completion of the arch at the corner of Geylang Serai Market and Tristar Inn and improvement works of Joo Chiat Complex.\nA book of photographs documenting the three years of this competition will be launched. \nTo date there are 3\,287 tags of high quality photographic images taken in the Geylang Serai area and its vicinity.
