MountED – An Artwork Mounting and Mountmaking Workshop

MountED is an artwork mounting and mountmaking workshop led by UK basedmount maker Michael Lapsley. Mountmaking is an essential skill to create support structures that ensure the safe display of artefacts and artworks. This workshop is the first of its kind in Singapore offered to professionals from the museum industry (public and private) and private art galleries allowing them the opportunity to learn from mounting and mountmaking with an international expert. Participants will learn the basics of mounting and mountmaking including mount design, mount fabrication, and mount installation. The workshop will include hands-on experiences.
