Making a beat from dance moves?

To The Beat is a series where dancers prepare a short choreography to no music, then music producers use the movement as inspiration to create a track inspired by the movement. The whole process is recorded on video, and edited into episodes.

Taking a new spin on our usual ways of approaching choreography and reconstructing music and dance in an alternative approach, exciting the dancers and musicians with a fresh approach to their craft. In our third Season, To The Beat goes regional with a collaboration with De La Salle University (Philippines), broadening our range of collaborations in both music genre and dance styles.

To The Beat will premiere weekly on the EMCC Virtual Stage, no registration is required.
